Care Support Assistant

Oakland Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Day Care Assistant to join our team in Littlehampton. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their specific needs are met.
The role requires working three nights per week, from 08:00 to 20:00, following a varied rota with alternate weekends. You will assist all colleagues in the delivery of direct care to residents, facilitate and participate in activities, and promote communication within the team.
We offer a competitive salary package, including enhanced rates of pay for working weekends, Bank Holidays, and overtime. Our benefits include sick pay, paid breaks, healthcare benefits, and a cycle to work scheme.
About the Role:
- Assist residents to participate in activities of daily living in accordance with care plans
- Act as a key worker to residents as agreed with your line manager
- Respond to calls quickly and efficiently
- Maintain care of equipment
- Comply with all policies and procedures
