About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Hays Travel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional onboarding and training experiences to our new colleagues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and motivational inductions and training programs that inspire new colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current inductions and training sessions, suggesting improvements to enhance the overall experience.
  • Research and develop engaging training content for both virtual and classroom delivery, ensuring that it is relevant and effective.
  • Coach and develop colleagues during 1-2-1 support sessions, providing guidance and feedback to help them succeed.
  • Effectively communicate and promote organizational changes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency with department and company technology, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and systems.
  • Be able to self-reflect and identify areas for personal development, seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Liaise and build relationships with all areas of the business that impact our new colleagues, ensuring seamless integration and support.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
