UK Project Estimator Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team in the UK and work on social housing refurbishment projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for social housing refurbishment projects
  • They will monitor project costs and identify potential cost savings
  • Manage variations and claims
  • Prepare and submit interim and final accounts
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector, with a focus on refurbishment projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Asite)

The salary range for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on your experience.
