Job Title: Senior Estimator for Social Housing Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Reading, Kent. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of social housing refurbishment projects, providing accurate cost estimates and managing project budgets.

About the Role:

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost plans and estimates for social housing refurbishment projects, monitoring project costs, and identifying potential cost savings. Additionally, they will manage variations and claims, prepare and submit interim and final accounts, and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, proven experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector, and strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, are also essential.

Salary: £55,000+ Package.
