About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Careers Advisor to join our supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in guiding students through their educational journey, helping them explore career paths, and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for their next steps into further education, training, or employment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide tailored careers advice and guidance to students, helping them understand the range of educational and career opportunities available.
  2. Develop and deliver career education programs, workshops, and events, including university visits, apprenticeships, and work experience opportunities.
  3. Work closely with students, parents, and teachers to support the creation of individual career action plans.
  4. Keep up to date with current labor market information, university and apprenticeship pathways, and changes in education policy to provide informed advice.
  5. Foster partnerships with local employers, higher education institutions, and community organizations to enhance career opportunities for students.
  6. Ensure the school meets its statutory obligations regarding careers education and guidance.
