Job Title: Apprentice Careers Advisor

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored careers advice and guidance to students, helping them understand the range of educational and career opportunities available.
  2. Develop and deliver career education programs, workshops, and events, including university visits, apprenticeships, and work experience opportunities.
  3. Stay up-to-date with current labor market information, university and apprenticeship pathways, and changes in education policy to provide informed advice.
  4. Foster partnerships with local employers, higher education institutions, and community organizations to enhance career opportunities for students.
  5. Ensure the school meets its statutory duties for careers guidance as per the Gatsby Benchmarks.
  6. Support students with personal development skills, including CV writing, interview techniques, and job application processes.
  7. Knowledge of the current education and training landscape, including university admissions, apprenticeships, and vocational pathways.
  8. A passion for helping young people realize their potential and achieve their aspirations.
