Employability and Career Planning Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability and Career Planning Advisor to join our team at UCFB. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality employability and career planning services to our students, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of employability and career planning services, including the development of online and physical resources.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to students on career development, job search strategies, and employability skills.
  • Collaborate with academic staff and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of employability and career planning services into the curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to provide students with opportunities for work experience and career development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employability and career planning services, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in employability and career planning, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong knowledge of career development theories and models, as well as employability skills and job search strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform service development.
