We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team in Elloughton Gardens, Timaru. As a Support Worker at Radius Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents and supporting them to maintain their independence and dignity.
About the JobThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and want to make a positive difference in people's lives. You will be working closely with our Registered Nurses to implement individual care plans and provide exceptional support to our residents.
- Providing personal cares, including assistance with daily living tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records of resident health information.
- Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes.
We offer a competitive salary of $25 per hour, plus opportunities for career progression and professional development through Careerforce and NZQA qualifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality care to residents, including personal cares and daily living tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records of resident health information.
- Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).
- A flexible approach to work, including willingness to work on a rostered shift basis.
