We are seeking a Train Service Manager to join our team in Rugby. This role will involve working closely with internal and external key roles to ensure that our train services run on time. You will be responsible for monitoring our train services and implementing a 'Plan B' of action if things go wrong.

The role involves working a varied shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. However, in return, we offer a great work-life balance, allowing you to switch off from work and focus on your personal life. A good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and web-based systems is essential.

A competitive salary of up to £54,440 per annum, depending on experience, is offered. Additionally, you will benefit from a defined benefit pension, free travel on all our trains and those of other train companies within our parent group company, 75% off all other train company travel tickets, retail discounts, and free onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor train services and implement 'Plan B' actions when necessary
  • Work closely with internal and external key roles to ensure timely train services
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and web-based systems
