Job Summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Careers is seeking a skilled Examination Facilitator to support our team during internal and external examinations. As an Examination Facilitator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth conduct of exams and maintaining high standards of examination procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Examinations Officer to set up exam rooms and coordinate the examination process.
  • Ensure the secure storage and handling of exam question papers and materials.
  • Accurately complete attendance registers and maintain records of candidate attendance.
  • Manage extra candidates not on the registers and verify their eligibility to sit the examination.
  • Monitor seating plans to ensure candidates have the correct papers and materials.
  • Communicate essential information to candidates, including the starting script and any erratum notices.
  • Maintain order and discipline among candidates throughout the examination period.
  • Address late arrivals and emergencies such as candidate illness or fire alarms in a professional and calm manner.
  • Document any incidents, disruptions, or irregularities that occur during the examination.
  • Respond to candidate queries in accordance with examination regulations.
  • Supervise candidates in a quiet and unobtrusive manner to maintain a conducive examination environment.
  • Closely monitor the examination conditions until the candidates are dismissed from the room.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You must also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are negotiable, but you can expect to work a variable number of hours depending on the examination schedule.

Salary

The salary for this role is £11.44 per hour, which is a competitive rate for this position.
