The Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Assistant to join our team at Rosemary Lodge Care Home. About the Role:

This position requires a flexible individual who can work on a bank contract basis, with shifts allocated on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping and Kitchen teams in maintaining the smooth operation of the Home, ensuring that residents receive exceptional care and have a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the expected standards are achieved throughout the home
  • Cover domestic, kitchen, and laundry duties, with training provided in all areas
  • Identify and report any damage, faults, or other issues to maintenance or management
  • Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
  • Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations

Requirements:

  • To be numerate and literate with a good standard of English
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety, Fire, and Security Regulations

Salary: Approximately £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
