We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychosis Specialist to join our team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Early Intervention Team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis or those at risk of developing a psychosis.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, occupational therapy, or social work, with post-graduate level qualifications or equivalent experience. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a variety of community settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and support service users experiencing 1st episode psychosis and those suspected of developing psychosis
  • Liaise and co-work with other services, statutory and non-statutory, to provide comprehensive care packages
  • Work collaboratively with carers and families to promote positive outcomes for service users

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN / Diploma / Degree), Occupational Therapist or Social Work registration
  • Qualification to post-graduate level or equivalent work experience relevant to the role
  • Experience of giving clinical supervision, care coordinating complex packages of care, and conducting high-quality risk assessments

The successful candidate will be based at The Beeches, Oldham, OL1 1SP, and will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
