Experienced Registered Manager Wanted for Children's Residential Service

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and determined Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations, care provision, and regulatory compliance of our children's residential service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child welfare and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children in care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to the staff team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, respect, and dignity.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the service meets all regulatory requirements set out by the relevant regulatory body, Ofsted.
- Quality of Care: Ensure that the care provided to children is of high quality, person-centred, and tailored to meet individual needs.
- Safeguarding and Child Protection: Implement robust safeguarding policies and procedures to protect children from harm, abuse, or neglect.
- Staff Management and Development: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to provide high-quality care.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks within the service, implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate potential harm or hazards.
- Partnership Working: Develop and maintain effective partnerships with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders involved in the care and support of children.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's care plans, assessments, and interventions.
- Financial Management: Manage the service's budget effectively, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Qualifications: Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Experience: Experience as a Registered Manager, experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Personal Attributes: Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children, empathetic and compassionate nature, resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.
- Competitive Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year.
- Realistic and Achievable Bonus Package: £7,500.00 per annum.
