Account Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Medlock Partners in Birmingham. As an Account Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our client's North American operations by building and developing business relationships within the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient demand planning and stock control, resulting in key performance metrics being met.
- Analyse SKU performance data to drive effective inventory and marketing strategies.
- Manage customer documentation and portals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide administrative support as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Serve as a key communication link between departments, ensuring seamless operations.
- Offer data-driven insights to inform commercial decisions on key accounts.
- Deliver sales support, ensuring alignment between internal and external team members to achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
- Previous account management experience in the food/beverage or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills, providing meaningful insight to inform commercial decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience in tracking, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Experience with demand planning, sales reporting, and forecasting is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) and experience working with ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel within Canada as needed to support the business.
