**Job Title:** Special Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream secondary school in Lambeth. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs is desirable but not essential
  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach to supporting children with diverse needs
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while also being confident in taking initiative
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, Autism Awareness) would be beneficial but not essential

Salary: £90-£110 per day depending on experience

Location: Mainstream School in Lambeth

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:00pm
