Job Title: Senior Site Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a team of site managers and assistant site managers on a prestigious development of timber frame houses and flats in Margate, Kent.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a site manager with a house builder and be able to motivate staff and manage a site effectively. They will also have up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation.

About the Role:

  1. Manage a small team of site managers and assistant site managers.
  2. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  3. Prepare and review the master build programme.
  4. Monitor progress and take corrective action if necessary.
  5. Agree and manage equipment, plant, staffing, and sub-contract requirements for the site.
  6. Respond to queries from trades and take action accordingly.
  7. Monitor the performance of direct reports.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a valid CSCS card.
  2. Valid SMSTS certificate.
  3. Full UK driving license.
  4. Good customer satisfaction scores.
  5. Ability to chair and run sub-contractor meetings.
  6. Able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
