Learning Disability Nurse Professional

At Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist in Learning Disabilities to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with learning disabilities, providing high-quality care and support.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing service users' needs, devising care plans, and evaluating outcomes that promote empowerment through the process. You will work closely with other professionals in the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to provide individualized care that addresses the needs of service users.
As a Nurse Specialist in Learning Disabilities, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills relative to the delivery of care in the service area. You will also lead a nursing staff team in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
The ideal candidate will have academic qualifications such as RNMH/RNLD/RMN and membership of professional bodies like NMC. Teaching/training experience and assessing and managing clinical risk are desirable skills.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of approximately £28,000-£34,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
This role requires a car driver, unless you have a disability that prevents you from driving. However, if you do not have a car, we may consider alternative arrangements.
