Job Title: Care AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Lark View Care Home in Canterbury. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving, and medication management
- Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs
- Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and well-being
- A competitive hourly rate of £12
- Flexible hours, including day shifts and contracted hours
- Pension scheme
- 5.6 weeks annual leave
- Paid DBS check
- Uniform provided
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
