Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team, working on national security and defence projects in the Southwest. As a key member of our Agile team, you will help lead the development of secure batch/real-time data-centric platforms and services, leveraging the latest commercial and open-source technologies in private and public cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of solution architecture, synthesizing business, information, and technology viewpoints into solutions that deliver capabilities.
  • Analyze business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements.
  • Design and lead the implementation of solution architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
  • Define principles to guide solution decisions and coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities.
  • Facilitate and lead the evaluation and selection of software product standards and design standard software configurations.
  • Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to.
Requirements
  • Experience as a senior solution architect across delivery, data platforms, data/analytics, cloud, and security areas.
  • Skilled in designing distributed, event-driven systems and experience in designing large-scale cloud migration projects/programs.
  • Working knowledge of cloud orchestration and containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of NCSC Cloud Security Principles and its practical implementations.
  • Event processing and async messaging architectures.
