">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Homeless Housing Coordinator Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Homeless Families & Singles' Team, you will provide specialist homelessness casework to households, ensuring that our services align with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives.
">Main Responsibilities
">Your primary duties will include:

- Providing specialist homelessness casework to households, ensuring that our services align with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives.">
- Using homelessness prevention tools, collaborating with internal and external partners, and improving outcomes for threatened or homeless applicants.">
- Embedding safeguarding best practice across the Housing Advisory Service.">
- Assisting households in challenging landlords and court possession orders to reduce temporary accommodation.">
- Contributing to the development of the Homeless Families & Singles' Team and Housing Advisory Service.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- Significant experience in specialist homelessness casework for applicants with complex needs.">
- The ability to consistently deliver high levels of customer service to homeless applicants.">
- Detailed knowledge of attending court and presenting cases in defence or challenge of council decisions.">
Salary and Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including:

- PAYE via Umbrella.">
- Remote working opportunities.">
- A 3-6 month initial contract with the opportunity to extend.">
