About the Role

The Parks Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality management and maintenance of our green estate, including parks, woodlands, lakes, and landscaped areas.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Trust's green estate to a high standard
  • Supporting team members to ensure all operational and landscape works are carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Managing and supervising contractors and Direct Works teams as required
  • Supporting the team in promoting the values and culture of the organisation

Requirements

  • A full driving licence is required
  • Experience of parks management, including forestry, arboriculture, landscape maintenance, and hard landscaping
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
  • Experience of using Microsoft 365

Desirable

  • Qualification in land management (e.g. forestry, arboriculture, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or hard landscaping)
  • Experience of contract management
  • Experience using ArcGIS
