About the Role

The Parks Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality landscape maintenance services across our portfolio of parks and green spaces.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Line-manage a team of landscape maintenance technicians and trainees, providing guidance and support to ensure they are highly motivated and working efficiently.
    • Develop and implement effective team management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Landscape Maintenance
    • Oversee the delivery of landscape maintenance services, ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Develop and implement sustainable landscape management practices, minimizing environmental impact and promoting biodiversity.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Degree in horticulture, landscape management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to develop and implement effective sustainable landscape management practices.
