About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the care and well-being of our young people, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our care programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, including overseeing the care and support of our young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead and manage a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our care policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with our values and standards.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth running of the home, including managing rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, with a willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
  • Experience of working in residential childcare, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by our young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of our young people.
  • Resilience and ability to manage challenging situations, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
