About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our residential care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home
  • Oversee the implementation of care and independence programmes for our young people
  • Line manage a small staff team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Manage shift patterns on a rota basis
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
  • Experience of working in residential childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Resilience and ability to manage challenging situations
