We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the care and well-being of our young people, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, including overseeing the care and support of our young people.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Line manage a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with our values and standards.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth running of the home, including coordinating shifts and rotas.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, with a willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, with a focus on supporting young people with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioural difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, staff, and external partners.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a strong understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection.
