We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working autonomously, and contributing to the development of our practice.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver practice nursing services, working as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage a range of clinical areas, including health promotion, chronic disease management, and health prevention.
- Support the management team in reviewing clinical policy and procedure.
- Initiate contact with patients, team members, and external agencies, responding to requests and queries.
- Manage administrative tasks, including data input, document scanning, and photocopying.
- Support clinical staff with general tasks and maintain a clean and effective working area.
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Postgraduate diploma or degree in Advanced Practice.
- Qualified Nurse Prescriber and Triage Nurse.
- Teaching Qualification and ALS/PALS certification.
- Wound care, removal of sutures and staples.
- ECGs, venepuncture, and new patient medicals.
- Chaperone procedure, requesting pathology tests, and processing results.
- Diabetes, asthma, CHD, and immunisations.
- Broad knowledge of clinical governance and evidence-based practice.
