Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and abilities
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care and organization
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training and a DBS certificate
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with parents and other stakeholders
