Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our SEN team at the London Borough of Redbridge Academy.

The successful candidate will work closely with our SEN pupils, providing individualized support and assistance to ensure their academic success.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of personalized learning plans, working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to SEN pupils, adapting to their individual needs and learning styles
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that SEN pupils receive the support they need to access the curriculum
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the learning process
  • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of SEN policies and procedures

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our SEN pupils, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
