Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our SEN team at the London Borough of Redbridge Academy.

The successful candidate will work closely with our SEN pupils, providing support and assistance to ensure their academic and personal success.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of individualized learning plans, working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to SEN pupils, adapting to their individual needs and learning styles
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these
  • Collaborating with other support staff to ensure a consistent and effective approach to SEN support

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our pupils, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
