About the Role


The London Borough of Redbridge is seeking a motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our thriving school community.


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a Reception/KS1 classroom and will be comfortable working with targeted individuals both in and out of the classroom.


Key Responsibilities



  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Providing individualized support to students with special needs
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Working collaboratively with other support staff to ensure a seamless learning experience

  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
