About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Guidant Global. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and enhancing productivity across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize logistics, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Facilitate and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) plans to address root cause analysis and implement process controls
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and develop business cases for implementation
  • Manage and drive improvement activities across the business, including the implementation of lean tools and change management
Requirements
  • Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21
  • Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • BEng in relevant Engineering or Science Degree
  • Strong background in manufacturing and warehousing, with a preference for experience in supply chain goods receiving practices
  • Understanding of MRP and just-in-time principles, preferably within a stores environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to influence teams outside of their direct reporting structure
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma methodologies, and CI and Quality tools
  • Proficient in system tools, techniques, and Minitab software
What You'll Get to Do

As a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and initiatives that will drive process improvements and enhance productivity across our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and develop business cases for implementation.

Security Clearance

As a minimum, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our client's Security Team.
