Mechanical Inspector

Morson Talent is recruiting on behalf of a leading defence equipment manufacturer based in Bolton, Greater Manchester for an apprenticeship served mechanical inspector. This is a contract role with a high likelihood of being long-term.

• Certify products in line with the product certification procedure
• Examine products for correct assembly and finish
• Inspect for physical damage and deterioration of surfaces
• Monitor product certification operators and complete paperwork
• Raise and maintain relevant data records and defect reports

• Formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC
• Significant prior mechanical inspection experience
• Several years' experience as a skilled person
• IPC 610 certified or trained preferred

Please note that to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible for SC (Secret Level) UK Security Clearance and meet the nationality restrictions.

Rates: £20.37 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £21.37 per hour post 12 weeks (PAYE) £27.37 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £28.71 per hour (Umbrella)
