Electronics Manufacturing Specialist

Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced General Operator to perform manufacturing and self-certification duties, as well as sub-assembly components.
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity to join the leaders in missile and defence and grow within their innovative initiatives.
The chosen candidate will create certification procedures, set workmanship standards, and manage budgets and timelines to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform precise assembly and manufacturing tasks according to established procedures, quality standards, safety protocols, and deadlines.
- Help streamline the flow of work and information in the manufacturing area.
- Adhere in all activities to agreed standards and behaviours.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements.
- Proficient in dexterity for precise tasks.
- Ability to read and understand layouts.
- Adherence to instructions.
- Flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Completed ESD training.
- PC literate.
- Basic Microsoft skills.
- Microelectronics experience.
- Experience utilising a soldering iron and working with manufacturing micro-components.
- Utilised crimping tool.
- Experience using a microscope.
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our clients Security Team.
