About the Role

Shaw Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate In Custody Information and Guidance Specialist to join our team. As an In Custody Information and Guidance Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering prisoners to transform their futures by providing them with vital information, advice, and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver workshops and coordinate events to support prisoners' personal and professional development.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful reintegration of prisoners into society.
  • Provide guidance and support to prisoners to help them achieve positive learning and employment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Level 4 IAG Qualification or the willingness to work towards L4 IAG Qualification.
  • Relevant experience in a Custodial environment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience of working with databases.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Outstanding abilities in interpersonal relations and effective communication.
