Job Title: Night Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Night Coordinator at Cefn Carnau, a low secure/rehabilitation service for adults with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts
  • Provide nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts across wards
  • Undertake clinical supervision with night staff
  • Identify and address night time cost pressures and take steps to minimise their impact on the budget
  • Manage staff allocation, redeployments and daily numbers on the ward
  • Work closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams
  • Provide statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as RMN/RNLD
  • First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills and knowledge
  • Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment
  • Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills
