About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Night Coordinator at Cefn Carnau, a low secure/rehabilitation service for adults with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability.

As a Night Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts, ensuring the service runs smoothly. You will work closely with the operational management team to provide guidance, supervision, and training to junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts across wards.
  • Undertake clinical supervision with night staff.
  • Identify any night time cost pressures and take steps to minimise/eradicate their impact on the budget.
  • Manage staff allocation, redeployments, and daily numbers on the ward.
  • Work closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams.
  • Provide statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience as RMN/RNLD.
  • First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills, and knowledge.
  • Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment.
  • Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership skills.
