About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to join our team at Bromley Y. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to lead our mental health services, providing expert guidance and support to our staff and stakeholders. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving innovation, improving service delivery, and enhancing outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve mental health services, aligned with national guidelines and best practices.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local authorities, schools, and community organizations to promote early intervention and prevention.
  • Mentor staff members to enhance their clinical skills and confidence.
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage risk assessments, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Deliver training and education programs on mental health topics, promoting awareness and understanding among stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a clinical discipline related to child and adolescent mental health.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with children and families, with a focus on emotional and mental health needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and team-building.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, with knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
  • Able to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures, with ability to apply them in practice.
