About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our care team as a Senior Residential Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our young people with higher functioning autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care and support to our young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of our young people.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a special needs environment, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ3 or L4 Diploma in Care or Children and Young People related area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Commitment to the values and principles of Aspris Children's Services, including safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
