Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled painter and decorator to join our team at Care UK Residential. As a Regional Decorator and Painter, you will be responsible for internal and external redecoration of our care homes across the Southwest London region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decorate homes inside and outside, following the Regional Facilities Manager's instructions, to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements for each project, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Order materials and consumables from the Care UK Property Helpdesk, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Implement and maintain Health & Safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Manage stock control, maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.
- Update job sheets and Verisae records for allocated works, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in painting and decorating, with a strong background in residential or office environments.
- Holder of City & Guilds level 2 in Painting & Decorating, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
- Current CSCS card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) including CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Full driving license, enabling you to travel between care homes efficiently.
