About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at Northern Gas and Power. As a key member of our People function, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and managing absence.
  • Support the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and onboarding new employees.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to develop and implement HR initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a People/HR function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
