Claims Commercial Manager

Hastings Direct is seeking a skilled Claims Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize claims costs and improve customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the UK motor repair market, including claims and risk management principles and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with claims and engineering services.
- Design and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce claims costs and improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including claims colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in claims and engineering services.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze complex data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in claims and risk management, with a focus on cost optimization and customer outcomes.
- Strong technical understanding of motor body repair methods and motor insurance/subrogation principles.
