Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Biostatistics Leader to join our team at Novartis Farmacéutica. As a key member of our Biostatistics function, you will play a critical role in driving statistical strategy and innovation across multiple programs and indications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement statistical strategies for critical clinical studies, ensuring expert-level contribution to project design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Provide strategic, technical, operational, and scientific leadership and solutions to the organization, influencing decisions that impact project and department objectives.
  • Represent the Biostatistics function at internal and external decision boards, facilitating flawless transition of projects from early to full development.
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee project-level activities, ensuring efficient resource management and effective partnership with external vendors.
  • Contribute to project team preparation and play a prominent role representing Biostatistics at HA Advisory Committees and meetings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Statistics or equivalent, with 12+ years of work experience, or PhD in Statistics or equivalent, with 8+ years of work experience.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise in applying statistics and innovative approaches, including exposure-response modeling, Bayesian statistics, and high-dimensional data exploration.
  • Record of successful implementation of novel methods and/or innovative strategies in drug development.
