Accounts Payable Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team at First Bus. Based in Aberdeen, this role offers the perfect blend of financial expertise and operational know-how.

The Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for processing supplier payments accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure that all transactions are handled promptly and in line with our procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Action invoices and credit notes in accordance with Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to best practices within Financial Operations.
  • Meet Service Level Agreements, Task Level Descriptions, and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Maintain control and audit mechanisms in line with Company policy.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and quality service as part of the team.
Requirements
  • Experience in accounts payable or finance administration is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
