Administrative Assistant Role

**Job Summary:**

Reed is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to support our manufacturing company in Chessington. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in customer service and can efficiently manage a backlog of work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and support.
* Manage and respond to customer emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
* Update and maintain customer records in the company database.
* Assist with the processing of orders and tracking of deliveries.
* Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
* Help manage the backlog of work, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and company objectives.

**Requirements:**

* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
