School Youth Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Youth Worker to join our team at a Secondary SEMH Provision in Burnley. As a School Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will have:
- A passion for working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding of the importance of building positive relationships with students.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, promoting their emotional well-being, and encouraging them to reach their full potential. You will also contribute to the development of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The estimated salary for this position is £11.00 per hour. Benefits include 7% statutory holiday pay, free child protection and prevent duty training, and a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
