We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning:
    Deliver personalized learning programs tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of children with Autism.
  • Individualized Support:
    Work closely with children to implement EHCP targets, ensuring each child receives the support they need to achieve their potential.
  • Classroom Management:
    Create a structured and nurturing environment that fosters engagement, independence, and positive behavior.
  • Collaboration:
    Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for each child.
  • Teamwork:
    Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
  • Assessment and Progress Tracking:
    Monitor and record each child's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to meet their individual goals.
  • Development:
    Stay informed about best practices in SEN education, particularly Autism, and participate in relevant training opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
