The Role:


We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher who can teach Chemistry, Physics, and Biology up to Key Stage 4 and make a significant impact on our students\' exploration and understanding of the sciences.


  1. Teaching Responsibilities:
  2. Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and informative lessons across Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
  3. Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and enhance student engagement.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress, using data to adapt teaching strategies and support individual achievement.
  5. Participate actively in staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and scientific learning.
  6. Organize and oversee science-related activities and projects that extend learning beyond the classroom.

Requirements:


We are looking for a candidate who:


  • Holds a relevant degree and a PGCE (or equivalent) with a strong background in Science, ideally in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
  • Exhibits excellent classroom management skills and a passion for teaching Science.
  • Adopts a systematic approach to teaching and learning, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in lesson delivery.
  • Upholds high personal and professional standards, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record in boosting student engagement and achievement in Science.
