About the Role

We are looking for a talented EMEA Accounting Team Lead to join our finance team in London. As a key member of the EMEA Accounting team, you will be responsible for driving cross-border projects and developing best practices in processes and controllership on an international level.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent the UK Accounting team and lead various meetings with senior management on key financial statement areas.
  2. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for the EMEA operations, ensuring adequate mechanisms and forums for reviews, decision making, and escalations.
  3. Drive standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to obtain the highest integrity of financial reporting (US, local GAAP, and management reporting).
  4. Deliver functional projects on a cross-country level, implementing best accounting/controllership practices to enhance and deepen the control environment.
  5. Ensure the EMEA Accounting activities are aligned across the Worldwide Accounting Organization.
  6. Influence and articulate accounting/finance terminology to the non-finance community.
  7. Support internal and external audit processes.
