Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is customer-focused, proactive, and has a strong attention to detail. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing claims from instruction to finalisation and closure, working closely with our litigation team and in-house solicitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of claims, adhering to all relevant policies, standard operating procedures, regulatory, and business service level agreements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through telephone calls, email, and post.
  • Conduct detailed fact-finding, highlighting any potential barriers to claim progression.
  • Pursue tenants and guarantors for unpaid rents where possible, in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Accurately manage and calculate financial payment requisitions as part of the claim.
  • Manage customer relationships effectively to ensure smooth claim progression.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths.
  • Administrative and customer service experience.
