Claims Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Claims Handler to join our team at Hireful. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the claims process from instruction through to finalisation and closure.

The successful candidate will provide timely advice and support to agents while ensuring legal obligations are met and insurer costs are minimised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of claims, adhering to all relevant policies, Standard Operating processes, regulatory, and business service level agreements.
• Input, assess, and store relevant documents and evidence on corresponding systems for audit purposes.
• Deliver exceptional service to customers primarily via telephone, email, and post.
• Pursue detailed fact finds, paying close attention to detail to highlight potential barriers to claim progression.
• Accurately manage and calculate financial payment requisitions as part of the claim, ensuring efficient payments to policyholders with relevant tracking and recording in place.
• Effectively manage customer relationships to ensure claim progression efficiency and maintain an accurate claim ledger.
• Evaluate any fraud indicators highlighted from fraud measures in place.

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths.
